How did you come to know Christ? I remember being at a Christian camp, and after struggling to find worth in my life, I realized Jesus death and resurrection was a gift for me, not only for eternity in heaven, but I was “His workmanship”, created for His Glory, forgiven and loved!
I layed in my bunk at camp, and asked His forgiveness for the sin in my heart, and offered Him my life to use for His honor and glory!
Favorite Verse: “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death…” (Romans 8:1-2 but the whole chapter is a Favorite!!)
Ephesians 2:1-10 “And you were dead in your trespasses and sins….BUT GOD….”
If you were stranded on a deserted island, which three books (besides the Bible) would you want with you? Some type of survival guide book would be necessary; Church History Extended version ; Beth Moore Collection (can that be just one?)
Which Biblical character (apart from Christ) has impacted your life most? Paul. Past forgiven, he moves ahead and is used powerfully to further God’s Kingdom and share His Gospel!
What are you currently learning in your journey with God? This life on earth is temporal, but I have an Eternal Hope!
“When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:
“Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is your victory?
O death where is you sting?””
Therefore I can and must live fearlessly, radically, and faithfully to what God has called me to do, sharing His gospel, Serving His people, and investing everything for His Glory!
What is your favorite dessert? I LOVE dessert, but at this moment I could totally go for a slice of Chocolate Cake with PB frosting! Yum!
What is your favorite movie? Anne of Green Gables, Last of the Mohicans, Sound of Music, Men of Honor
What do you enjoy most about Chapel of the Cross? The people! Most incredible people I have ever known, I have met in this church!
