SUNDAY – May 26, 2013

Join us for worship on Sunday at 9:30 or 11:00am as we hear a sermon from Pastor David Pranga entitled, "How Does God Speak to Us Today? " a study of 1st Samuel 3:1-11. 

 

Don’t forget to join us as we continue Reading through the Scriptures. For the next 10 weeks, we will be reading through the books of Acts, 1st Corinthians and 2nd Corinthians as a community.

Men's Bible Study - NO BIBLE STUDY May 27. Bible study will resume June 3 at 7 pm - Come ready to dig into God's Word on Monday evenings at 7:00pm. We meet every other week and are studying Robert Boyd Munger and Andrea Jorgenson's My Heart - Christ's Home. Contact Chris Kindstedt for more information.

Chapel Women


Women’s Bible Studies: 


Wednesday Mornings at 9:30am
- The Wednesday morning Women’s Bible Study will be "Praying the Psalms". Contact Leslea Linebarger for more information.


Thursday Evenings at 6:30pm - The Thursday evening Women's Bible Study will study Kay Arthur's Lord, I Want to Know You: A Devotional Study on the Names of God. Contact Carol Wijas or Christy Pranga for more information.

 

Ladies Night Out: Monthly Fellowship - Come, the first Wednesday of each month, to Panera Bread for fellowship with the women of Chapel. The address is 600 Union Street, Westborough. Chapel Students


Sundays at 9:30am - We offer classes for middle and high school students on Sunday mornings during the first service. Contact Bethany Needham with questions.

Refuel -  - REFUEL IS BACK ON THIS WEEK! ReFuel Jr. (middle school) at 5:00pm, ReFuel (high school) at 6:30 pm. 

Serve Worcester –  On the 3rd Sunday of each month, students in grades 9-12 are invited to join us after second service as we share lunch together then carpool into Worcester to love and serve those in need! We return to the church around 3:30pm. Please contact Bethany Needham for more information.

Ignite . A NEW student prayer and worship gathering, hosted by Micah Lang in the youth room on the 3rd Sunday of each month. It is an informal night for students to gather, pray and worship in song together.

Serve Worcester: Worship @ Healthlink -  June 2 - A Chapel team visits Healthlink's Detox unit in Worcester with the Good News on the first Sunday of each month. If you are interested in this ministry, please contact Lisa Phelps at (508) 393-5157.

Rep the Peace Block Party - June 8,  1-4 pm - In conjunction with Straight Ahead Ministries, Chapel has been asked to come alongside the Straight Ahead youth and show them how to run different activities (similar to the Family Fun Day we did in October 2011) during their block party. If you would like to help with parachute games, relay races, potato sack races, manning a bounce house, or face painting (supplies will be provided), please contact Tanya Legro or Bethany Needham.

The Village Transitional Housing Shelter - June 15, 1-3pm - We are looking for people to help at The Village, a transitional housing shelter in Worcester. They need people to plant flowers and organize their donation closet. We would also like to offer different activities for the approximately 70 kids that live at The Village (similar to the Block Party above). If we have enough help, they also need help at their sister shelter, The Ives, painting a mural and planting flowers. If you would like to help, please contact Tanya Legro.

Students Serve Worcester - June 16 - Students in grade 9 and up head into Worcester on the third Sunday of every month after the second service to serve food to the homeless and share the love of Christ. We share a pizza after the 11:00am service and then head out to Worcester, returning to the church around 3:30pm. Contact Bethany Needham for more information.
